HEALTH EDUCATION
“We are your resource for health promotion”.
Teaching is an important aspect of nursing care and patient adherence to treatment regimens. There are many factors that can influence health promotion. As a result, identification of potential risk factors is crucial. Some may have known risks factors or genetic predisposition, while others have none. In addition, behavior adaptations can impact overall outcomes. Modifiable risk factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, decreased physical activity, stress, and obesity are all able to be managed and prevented with proper care.
We understand that not all diseases can be prevented and not every person with unhealthy lifestyle will get a particular disease. However, being proactive and altering certain risk factors can make a difference. Health teachings can positively impact patient outcomes and quality of life ultimately.
